Adidas Gazelle vs Campus?

Can someone please explain to me basically what the differences are between
the Adidas Gazelle and Campus models? Just looking at photos of them, I
really can't see any difference at all, except for the names.

For one thing, the Gazelle also has a considerably smaller toe box
than the Campus. I like the Campus, but find the Gazelle too tight in
front.

The pictures don't show the bottom, for one thing.

The Gazelle sounds very similar to the Puma Clydes - narrow toe and similar
bottom design.
